Sweet, special Kenzie turns TEN YEARS OLD on April 3rd. Hooray and Hallelujah!!
This is a great day for us -- a milestone for many, many reasons. Kenzie contracted Lyme Disease when she was about 2 years old, and despite a multitude of tests over an 18 month period, she never came up positive for Lyme. And one day we were extremely fortunate to have Dr. Allen Schoen see us; he immediately knew what was wrong with her, and recommended a combination traditional and homeopathic treatment. I credit him with saving Kenzie's young life at that time. However, damage had been done and she has spent these past several years battling fatigue and pain, but she is about as brave as it gets, and she's always smiling, no matter!
